The lecture brings a practitioner of significant standing to the District Architecture Center to discuss how the priorities, behaviours and needs of building users can be embedded into the design process from the earliest stages of a project rather than addressed as a secondary consideration during delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The subject is particularly relevant in Washington DC&#8217;s institutional context, where a high proportion of the city&#8217;s built output involves federal buildings, embassies, cultural institutions, healthcare facilities and educational campuses.
