The ten-day festival celebrates how design shapes life in New Zealand and beyond, from the streets we walk to the systems we rely on and the stories we tell.<\/p>\n<p>Events take place across galleries, theatres and public spaces in both cities, bringing together designers, technologists, businesses and communities. The programme includes a Designers Speak session on 17 October with Seachange, Motion Sickness and The Wonder Group, presented by the Designers Institute of New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is supported by the New Zealand Government\u2019s Events Boost Fund, and it is open to practising designers and the design curious alike.
