The weekend is produced by the Australian Institute of Architects and this year&#8217;s programme lists 73 entries, taking in buildings, walking tours, a talk and an exhibition. It draws architects, students and a large general public audience.<\/p>\n<p>Buildings on the 2026 list include Parliament House Tasmania, Hobart Town Hall, the Supreme Court of Tasmania, the State Library and Archives, Wrest Point, Anglesea Barracks, Cascade Brewery and TasPort Tower. Walking tours cover the Art Deco CBD, the Battery Point foreshore and Glenorchy, and Hobart After Dark night walks leave Salamanca Place on the Friday and Saturday evenings. A Lysaght Speaker Series talk on making housing affordable follows on Tuesday 10 November.<\/p>\n<p>For Tasmanian practices the weekend is the one time each year the public walks through the buildings they work on, and talks about them.
