Held in collaboration with Her Home, the lunchtime talk asks how housing designed for women is different. It is open to architects, planners, housing providers and students anywhere in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Three speakers join the conversation. Eloise Atkinson is a Brisbane architect and independent chair of BHC, Queensland&#8217;s largest community housing provider. Samantha Donnelly is an architectural educator whose PhD examined trauma-informed design for women&#8217;s refuges. Sophie Dyring is an architect and landscape architect working in social and affordable housing who sits on design review panels in South Australia and New South Wales. Tania Davidge and Justine Clark host. Tickets are $45.<\/p>\n<p>The session covers safety, flexibility, housing types and models, and challenges assumptions about where women, particularly older women, should live.
