The exhibition is presented by The Warren Trust and curated by John Walsh, a former editor of Architecture New Zealand who staged an earlier Warren watercolour show at the same gallery in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The paintings run from Warren&#8217;s student years in Christchurch and Auckland, through his time in London in the early 1950s and his working life, to the annual European painting trips he made after retiring in 1994. Works named include the Chapman Block at Christ&#8217;s College, a London scene from 1953 and sketches for proposed flats for Dorset Estates. Objectspace&#8217;s Christchurch opening hours are Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Warren, who died in 2022, founded Warren and Mahoney in 1958 and designed College House and the Christchurch Town Hall, so the show is a look at the hand behind some of the city&#8217;s best known buildings.
