The 2027 festival runs from 13 to 20 May across the city. It is a platform of more than 275 independently hosted events in studios, showrooms, retail spaces, auditoriums, schools, museums and public spaces, covering ten design disciplines from architecture, landscape architecture and interior design to product, lighting and urban design.<\/p>\n<p>The 2027 programme will be published closer to the festival. The 2026 edition gives the shape of it, with two trade fairs, ICFF and the Afternoon Light Design Fair, a day-long AI summit held with Cornell Tech, open showrooms, keynotes, guided tours, exhibitions and the free outdoor Design Pavilion. Entry varies by event, with some ticketed, some requiring an RSVP and many free. A festival app and printed guide carry the full calendar.<\/p>\n<p>For architects and interior designers in New York, the festival week is when most of the city&#8217;s showrooms, studios and schools open their doors at once.
