The New York City 2027 edition runs on 24 and 25 March, with the venue, co-chairs and speaker line-up still to be announced. It draws architects, facade consultants, engineers, contractors and fabricators from across the region, along with product manufacturers exhibiting in the expo.<\/p>\n<p>The series follows a consistent format. Day one is a full-day symposium of presentations and panels with a Methods and Materials Expo of envelope products and peer networking, and day two offers optional classroom-style workshops. At recent editions attendees could earn up to 12 AIA HSW continuing education units, and qualified architects and engineers could apply for a free VIP symposium pass. Registration details will be posted on the Facades+ website.<\/p>\n<p>For New York architects, Facades+ is the one annual conference devoted entirely to the envelope, in a city where facade performance and embodied carbon sit at the centre of most project briefs.
