Australian Visa Updates – 6 Month Work Limitation

The Australian Government has recently announced a temporary relaxation of the 6-month work limitation (Visa condition 8547) for Working Holiday Makers.

The current rules only allow for working holiday makers to work for the same employer for 6-months, however with this relaxation, any work completed before 31st December 2022 doesn't count towards this 6-month period. 

This new guidance allows employers to retain any new working holiday makers staff at their practice until 30th June 2023.
