A rare opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect/ Associate in a vibrant National landscape architecture practice with, partnership potential. This role suits someone who enjoys a collaborate and supportive culture, but is also highly capable of working autonomously as required. Nationally this practice covers landscape components of public realm, infrastructure, education, health, multi-unit residential and commercial typologies. You will be responsible for the quality of design, documentation and coordination of projects as well as client and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

  • Harness the opportunity to shape the business and culture of a top-tier studio
  • Manage a diverse range of public and private projects throughout all stages of a project cycle
  • Establish project timelines and manage staff resourcing
  • Develop and grow an existing sector with solid base of current projects

Skills and experience

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture and ideally registration as a Landscape Architect;
  • Good design skills and a great attitude.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of projects across a range of typologies ideally within a Revit environment
  • Proven experience in collaborative / joint venture projects
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience, ideally locally within Australia
  • Extensive knowledge of project delivery from schematic design to contract administration
  • Strong technical understanding through all stages of documentation and delivery 
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to pitch to clients and build rapport
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team demonstrating advanced people skills
  • Revit knowledge is an advantage

Bio: Ryan studied landscape architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture before gaining some architectural design experience in Shenzhen, China, after which he returned to the UK to work for landscape and urban design specialists, Plincke. Having gained some valuable experience in the industry, Ryan traveled for a year before settling in Sydney to recruit for Australia’s leading design studios.
