Join a creative and welcoming team and showcase your advanced writing, communication and planning skills in a hands-on role key to the studio’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the tender process and seek out new business opportunities
  • Manage the effective and efficient production of outstanding submissions
  • Produce high level bid, marketing and project collateral
  • Devise and implement communications strategies
  • Report on and track BD activities
  • Maintain the knowledge library and CRM system
  • Attend networking events
  • Manage various stakeholders and conduct presentations to Associates and Directors
  • Support the Directors

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 6+ years experience across submissions 
  • Experience within the design industry (in a similar role or a project-related capacity)
  • Experience in large scale, multi-faceted bid management
  • High proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Outstanding writing skills
  • Understanding of architecture and design concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and competency in building rapport
  • Proactive approach with leadership capability
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Interest in a long term career in bid management

Johanna moved to Melbourne and started at Bespoke Careers in 2016 as a Design Team Administrator/Talent Manager, moving into an Associate role in 2019 recruiting within the architectural and interior products team. Having a passion for Scandinavian design Johanna has worked with many of the product suppliers and manufacturers in Melbourne, helping to recruit salespeople, business developers, marketers and support staff.
