About this role

Nationally acclaimed architecture/landscape/urban design studio specializing in cultural and institutional projects seeks a talented and driven Intermediate Architect.

Key responsibilities

Involved in design development, construction detailing and preparation of coordinated project documentation
Follow project through in all phases from design to completion
Coordinate with consultants and communicate directly with clients

Skills and Experience

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
5-7 years' professional experience
Past experience in cultural, institutional or complex projects
Extraordinary design and problem solving skills
Technical understanding with experience in CD/CA phase
Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements
Confident communication and strong organizational skills
Digital rendering skills for presentation documents
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

Bio: Alastair studied architecture at the University of Manchester and the University of Hong Kong. He then spent ten years working for award-winning architecture firms based in the UK. Looking for a change, in November of 2016 he moved to New York and joined our busy architecture team, recruiting for top firms such as SOM, FXCollaborative, Grimshaw and Deborah Berke Partners.
