About this role
A leading architecture and development company are seeking a Senior Architect with strong local experience on high quality residential work. This role will involve working across a range of projects with a focus on early stages. The right candidate will have a passion for high quality design and detailing and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop quality high-rise and mid-rise residential projects
- Lead early stages of key projects and stay involved in latter stages
- Collaborate with others internally
- Lead and mentor junior staff as necessary
- Contribute to developing a strong design culture
Skills and Experience
- Qualified and ideally registered architect
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience including on large scale projects
- Multi-residential experience valued but ideally a diversity of sector experience
- Past experience in documentation and delivery skills
- Proven ability supported by successfully completed projects
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
- Revit skills desirable not essential
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills
