Principal Landscape Architect

Working from within the executive leadership group, this role is your opportunity to share your knowledge, mentor rising talent and expand your project experience. As a Principal Landscape Architect, you will impart your passion for design and the importance of relationships while inspiring and leading a group of talented professionals and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the practice overall through technical and management support to the wider design team
• Support the delivery of strategic design projects
• Manage workflow scheduling, project management, and team development
• Initiate and assist with business development, execute key stakeholder management, and maintain strong client relationships
• Assist in recruitment processes to develop team as the practice grows 

Skills and Experience

• Significant demonstrated industry experience across a range of projects through all stages (public sector advantageous)
• Exceptional concept and design development experience
• Key stakeholder management and client relationship development abilities
• Strong leadership, mentoring and collaboration skills
• Ability to write proposals, win and manage work
• Clear understanding of urban design, pubic realm and landscape architecture principles and the demonstrated ability to apply them
