This highly regarded multidisciplinary company with offices across Melbourne, Australia and across the globe, is currently seeking a Marketing and Submissions Specialist to join their dynamic Melbourne studio. Known for their significant pipeline of work across varying sectors including Commercial, Civic, Health and Public projects, this company takes pride in delivering innovative projects. Reporting to the Senior Pursuits Specialist, you will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where innovation is encouraged, and excellence is celebrated. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review new tender documentation to understand submission requirements, coordinating internal strategy and follow-up meetings, and gathering input from staff and sub-consultants to meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to proposal strategy, develop work plans, and manage pursuit teams and schedules.
  • Oversee the entire submission process, coordinating and editing input from various stakeholders to ensure timely contributions.
  • Conduct market sector and client strategy research.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership, market sector leadership, office principals, and other leaders.
  • Manage the final document’s appearance in InDesign, sourcing photography, CVs, references, and other materials as needed.
  • Populate response schedules, spreadsheets, and project outlines with key data.
  • Write sections of the submission based on bullet points and other provided information.
  • Initiate and manage the go/no-go process.
  • Update the CRM database with leads and pursuits.
  • Ensure marketing and pursuit materials are current, including project sheets and CVs.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a Professional Service degree such as Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related technical field) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a bids or pursuits capacity, preferably within the AEC industry.
  • Experience in architecture is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud and MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for details
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
