Strategic operational role for a renown global design practice.
  • Salary: £150,000-180,000 per annum
  • Job type: Permanent
  • Location: London
  • Sector: Architecture
  • Job Ref: 46358

About this role

A global studio is looking for an international operations director to oversee and support the strategic vision of an international brand.  The client has a global presence, is known for world class design and signature projects, having positioned themselves at the forefront of the ever-changing property market.  The studios cover urban/master planning, interiors and all sectors within architecture.

Working closely with the CEO, COO and CFO you will be operating across a range of procedures which may include risk management, resourcing, project delivery, profitability and revenue forecasting.  You will be part of an international team playing a key role in decision-making with senior management.  You will have the opportunity to see your decisions come to fruition.

Ideal candidates for this role will have worked internationally, undertaken knowledge-sharing with other offices or worked in a matrix structure. Those who have worked as an architect are best suited to bring an understanding of the design and build process. This role will require frequent travel and will appeal to those who have had experience managing different zones - as well as those who have already had input into the operations of a practice, who are commercially focused and hands-on with implementing processes, are proactive in decision making and are excellent communicators.

It is essential that candidates have experience working in APAC, EMEA and possess strong contract, project and resource management skills.

Location for this role is open.
