Our client is an internationally acclaimed boutique architecture studio based in Brooklyn, NYC specializing in complex cultural and institutional projects. They are seeking a talented and driven Australian Architect with 10-15 years' professional experience and a focus on highrise tower projects. Working in the Brooklyn office initially, you will be seconded to Perth, WA for the construction period of their flagship Australian project with the option of returning to NYC at completion. This is a career defining opportunity and a chance to have the best of both worlds.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead in design development, construction detailing, preparation of coordinated project documentation in BIM with teams in various locations
  • Follow project through in all phases schematic design through to practical completion on site
  • Coordinate with consultants and communicate directly with clients
  • Mentor junior staff

Skills and experience

  • Registered Architect in Australia and 10-15 years of professional experience
  • Significant experience on high-rise tower and programmatically complex projects, specifically in the DD, documentation and delivery phases
  • Previous experience working in JV projects and coordination between teams in different locations
  • Extraordinary design, detailing and problem solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian building codes, standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Motivation to work on an iconic tower project
  • Proficiency in REVIT and Rhino essential, and bluebeam preferred.
