About this role

Seeking well-rounded Senior Landscape Architects to work with an established team and be responsible for design and mentoring throughout the life of projects on a range of high-end, public and private projects. The right candidate will have natural leadership skills,  proven management experience and excellence in both design and documentation skills. You will also be proficient in Revit with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience ideally in a similar role and excellent communication skills both verbally and visually. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a world class team

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with external consultants and contractors
  • Oversee the delivery of architectural documentation packages through design development, tender and construction phases 
  • Mentor and lead the project team.
  • Revit documentation to a construction level
  • You will need good writing skills for correspondence, reports and guidelines 
  • Ability to prepare material to deadlines and for presentations
  • Show initiative in identifying problems and leading solutions throughout the design and construction process

Skills and experience

  • Completed Landscape Architecture qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Landscape Architectural practice
  • Demonstrated experience as a designer
  • Revit skills gained from practice
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of projects across a range of typologies
  • Extensive knowledge of project delivery from Schematic Design to Contract Administration
  • Outstanding documentation, detailing and problem solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
  • A passion for design and enthusiastic personality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Bio: Ryan studied landscape architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture before gaining some architectural design experience in Shenzhen, China, after which he returned to the UK to work for landscape and urban design specialists, Plincke. Having gained some valuable experience in the industry, Ryan traveled for a year before settling in Sydney to recruit for Australia’s leading design studios.
