About this role


A fantastic opportunity has become available for a switched-on and ambitious Mid-level Landscape Architect to join a well established Sydney design practice. You will be a good all-rounder, capable of working independently and as part of a team, through all stages of schemes from design through to construction. You will also be proficient in Revit, min of 3-5 years post graduate experience with excellent communication skills both verbally and visually. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a world class team

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with external consultants and contractors
  • Undertake design projects from concept to completion
  • Revit documentation to a construction level
  • You will need good writing skills for correspondence, reports and guidelines 
  • Ability to prepare material to deadlines and for presentations
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team  environment
  • Show initiative in identifying problems and leading solutions throughout the design and construction process

Skills and experience

  • Completed Landscape Architecture qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Landscape Architectural practice
  • Demonstrated experience as a designer
  • Revit skills gained from practice
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of projects across a range of typologies
  • Extensive knowledge of project delivery from Schematic Design to Contract Administration
  • Outstanding documentation, detailing and problem solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
  • A passion for design and enthusiastic personality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Bio: Ryan studied landscape architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture before gaining some architectural design experience in Shenzhen, China, after which he returned to the UK to work for landscape and urban design specialists, Plincke. Having gained some valuable experience in the industry, Ryan traveled for a year before settling in Sydney to recruit for Australia’s leading design studios.
