About this role

An AD100 design firm in Los Angeles is looking for a talented Architect or Interior Architect. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or interior architecture and min 3 years’ experience with hospitality projects. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivating and a meticulous individual that is willing to embark on amazing projects and a rewarding professional experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Exhibits understanding of the firm's design philosophy
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with relation to client interaction
  • Ability to produce complete construction drawings
  • Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors
  • Have a good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and F, F & E schedules and budgets for hospitality and residential projects
  • Proficiency in millwork detailing and specifications and reviewing shop drawings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Highly proficient in Autocad and/or Revit
  • Minimum of 3 years' of professional working experience
  • Experience in interior design and architecture for hospitality and high-end residential projects is a plus
  • Experience with creating all project documentation, including Design Development and Construction sets, knowledge of Construction Administration through the end of projects
  • Provide excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of environmental and sustainability friendly products
  • Basic knowledge of current building codes including ADA requirements
