About this role

Our client is a renowned, international design practice that specialises in the workplace sector. They are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their friendly team and contribute to all areas of projects, from concept to completion. The successful designer will have strong Revit skills and be experienced in the workplace and commercial sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career with the support of a studio that promotes flexible working practices and invests in ongoing learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on projects across all stages from concept to completion
  • Manage joinery detailing and documentation packages from DD through to construction
  • Design documentation in Revit
  • Co-ordinate and manage FF+E selection
  • Manage clients, consultants and suppliers  
  • Ensure the highest quality project outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with all team members

Skills and Experience

  • Degree Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience, preferably on workplace/ commercial projects 
  • High Revit proficiency
  • SketchUp and Indesign skills
  • Excellent technical ability
  • Sound knowledge of construction and building regulations (NCC & Australian Standards)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
