About this role

This group is an established and major industrial building company located on the city-fringe. They offer a broad range of bricks and pavers for residential, architectural and commercial use, and have manufacturing capabilities throughout Australia. The friendly team is seeking a Design Support Coordinator to provide administrative and some sales support to their busy Architectural Design team. The DS Coordinator will be motivated, organised and proactive with strong administration and customer service skills. An A&D background will be looked upon favourably. This is a 12-month contract with the potential to become permanent. Join a friendly team and provide key support in the industry you are passionate about!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and sales support to the A&D team
  • Follow up on leads generated by the design team
  • Input data and track projects through Cordell (CRM)
  • Book appointments with architects and designers
  • Generate EOIs in response to prospective leads
  • Input and maintain data
  • Maintain the sample stock
  • Organise couriers and collate samples
  • Coordinate catering for in-house presentations

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of the A&D industry
  • Experience within the A&D industry (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Data entry skills and experience using a CRM
  • Strong administration skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Reliable, conscientious approach
