About this role

This group a long-established success story in high-end fit-outs and construction projects across Australia. This friendly bunch are looking to welcome a spirited and meticulous Project Coordinator to the team to manage the delivery of projects within budget and time, alongside the Project Manager. The successful Project Coordinator will be tertiary qualified in construction with an adaptable approach and industry experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and budget
  • Provide delivery and programming support to the team
  • Assist with tender negotiations, variations and contract administration
  • Attend and minute subcontractor, site and client meetings
  • Update drawing register
  • Process invoices and progress payments and assist with cost reporting
  • Organise defects rectification
  • Coordinate WH&S requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction
  • Minimum 2+ years post grad experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Sound knowledge of industry-specific project management processes (fit-outs and refurbishments a bonus)
  • Understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental standards
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Flexible and proactive approach
