An opportunity has arisen for a confident and proactive Business Development Manager to join the Melbourne office and drive further sales success. The successful BDM will be experienced in selling into the commercial workplace design industry and passionate about commercial interiors. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve product specification on projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, project managers and corporate end-users
  • Utilise existing networks within the commercial workplace design industry to maximize sales opportunities
  • Attend regular networking events and trade fairs
  • Present to the commercial industry

Skills & Experience 

  • Qualification/ background in Design (preferred)
  • Experience in selling into the commercial workplace design industry 
  • Existing network of industry contacts (architects, designers and end-users)
  • Track record of working towards sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • A get up and go attitude with no call reluctance
  • Self-directed outlook with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Driven and motivated approach
  • Genuine interest in commercial interior design
