This design-focused, contemporary architectural practice works across a wide range of sectors and have a global network of offices. The studio is known for supporting their people to maintain a good balance between work and life. A position has arisen in their Melbourne office for a dedicated Project Architect, ideally with station experience. The successful Architect will lead the project team from the current phase, the start of DD. Be welcomed into a large and well-renowned practice, and contribute to a significant suburban project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a prominent Melbourne rail project
  • Coordinate an established and strong team of 3, increasing to 5+
  • Work in a hands-on capacity across projects – including contributing Revit technical output
  • Validate and develop project and construction schedules
  • Provide oversight and document construction progress to ensure milestones are met
  • Ensure the overall cost, quality, safety and communication management
  • Regularly visit the site office (Mentone)

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture
  • 6+ years post grad experience (rail/ station experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Experience in running projects
  • An understanding of the scale and scope of rail projects
  • Analytical approach
  • Ability to identify obstacles and provide solutions
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team

She then transferred to the London office in April 2018 and now recruits on the interior design desk.
