About this role

Renowned for their cutting edge and bold design, our client is an architecture practice that delivers architecture, interior design, urban design and strategic services across Australia in the tertiary education and healthcare sectors. A senior role has opened up for an architect with 20+ years of experience including an thorough understanding of the PPP process.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced in all phases of a project – particularly the bid phases – and can excel in a role with many stakeholders, consultants and large internal team. Elevate your career by contributing your skills and experience to a prominent practice in a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major projects through all phases
  • Represent the company at external user group meetings and workshops
  • Ensure design intent is carried through to handover
  • Undertake fee analysis, project planning and scoping
  • Operate at a high level alongside senior project leaders
  • Mentor junior staff

Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualification in Architecture
  • ARBV Registered (or similar equivalent elsewhere in Australia)
  • Minimum 20+ years post grad experience, including project delivery
  • Experience on PPP projects. Healthcare preferred but not essential
  • Ability to run a project team using
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Detailed design and construction knowledge
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respectfully influence outcomes and handle pressure situations
  • Effective time-management skills
