A high end furniture company are seeking a State Sales Manager to join an established team. This is a pivotal role in maintaining strong market leadership within the Architectural and Interior Design community

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable results with sales team
  • Develop team through motivation, mentoring, and skill development
  • Manage sales administration and operations
  • Report on performance and streamline process where possible
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic business plan
  • Plan and manage team activities
  • Implement goals and KPI plans for performance evaluation
  • Promote company culture and values
  • Attend and present at external meetings to promote business development
  • Maintain sales functions on ERP system
  • Manage recruitment of sales and support teams

 

Skills and Experience

  • A proactive, hands on State Sales Manager with a minimum of 3 years proven demonstrative
  • experience
  • Commercial and business acumen 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skillset
  • Passion for sales and developing new business within a team environment 
  • Previous success in leading and building teams 
  • An active enthusiasm for being ‘The Coach’ and spending time in the field with your team. 
  • The ability to step into Senior leadership

After qualifying, he worked in the construction industry alongside architects and designers and was keen to move away from the tools and get into a showroom management role. Following his move to Sydney, Alex helped design and supply luxury bathrooms before joining the Bespoke team to recruit salespeople, business developers, marketers and support staff across the Sydney and Brisbane architectural & interior product markets.
