An opportunity has come about for a proactive HR Coordinator to join the Melbourne team in a varied and diverse all-round position. The successful candidate will have HR qualifications and experience (design industry exposure would be ideal), an approachable, people-focused approach, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Practice Manager across all aspects of HR
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Maintain HR data and issue employee correspondence
  • Support the delivery of core HR processes and activities
  • Provide advice and coaching to leaders on people management
  • Support staff and managers with complex disputes, grievances and disciplinary issues
  • Conduct exit interviews

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related degree in Business/ Psychology/ Arts
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a generalist HR position (design industry experience favourable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Positive and approachable demeanour
  • Process oriented yet flexible approach
  • Strong interest in and understanding of human behaviour
  • Appreciation of the design industry

Before working at Bespoke Careers, Jenny worked as a senior account manager at People Bank and Adaps. She also has a degree in psychology from London Southbank University.
