An opportunity has arisen for a talented Sales Consultant to join the team and service an A&D client base across Melbourne, focusing on small to large scale projects. The successful consultant will have an authentic approach with a love of people, a flair for design and professional sales experience in a similar environment. Work alongside a close-knit team with a good work/life balance, and be rewarded with a fantastic commission structure. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify and engage with clients and key decision makers within the A&D community and the wider net of industry players
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Respond to and close sales enquiries
  • Maximise profitability of orders
  • Prepare quarterly sales forecasts
  • Develop pitches and presentations
  • Represent the company in a manner that upholds its values and reputation

Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in a design environment
  • General computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A love of people and natural relationship-building skills
  • An eye for an opportunity, with exceptional follow up
  • High-level negotiation and resolution skills
  • Proactive and honest approach with a desire to ‘get things done’
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Creative approach, demonstrated in a beautifully-presented CV
