This national design practice specialises in the hospitality, gaming, interiors and education sectors. With over 30 years’ experience, they are successful, well-established, and dedicated to great design. The progressive group is committed to supporting individuals with the flexibility needed for a good balance between work and life. An opening has come about for a talented Project Architect to join the team and drive hospitality projects. The successful Architect will come armed with experience in leading projects (particularly through the CA stages), as well as solid Revit skills and a passion for hospitality design. An enthusiastic approach is also key because culture fit is very important to this down-to-earth and talented bunch. An opportunity absolutely not to miss!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects
  • Contribute to detailed design and documentation phases
  • Respond to complex issues with innovative solutions
  • Bring projects in on time and on budget
  • Manage clients, consultants, technical specialists and team members
  • Guide, mentor and develop junior team members
  • Ensure the overall cost, quality, safety and communication management for the highest quality project outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Masters Degree in Architecture
  • Current ARBV Registration or working towards it (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years post grad experience, including leading projects from feasibility, through to documentation and construction stages
  • Experience within the hospitality sector (preferred ) and/ or education (a bonus)
  • High proficiency in Revit
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Having most recently practised at Hayball Architects, she has a thorough grasp of architectural procedures and skill-sets and draws on this in recruiting for permanent architectural roles. Rochelle graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters in Architecture in 2009 and gained over seven years' post-graduate experience before joining Bespoke Careers in 2017.
