About this role

This large design studio works across health, education, commercial, mixed-use and housing sectors, to name a few. Located in the city-fringe, the team prides themselves on being like a big family, and on genuinely promoting a true work-life balance for individuals. They are looking to welcome a capable Senior Interior Designer to the practice to lead workplace and mixed use projects and manage a team of designers. The successful designer will come armed with experience in and a passion for the workplace sector, exceptional people skills, and Revit and AutoCAD abilities. Collaborate alongside an easy-going bunch while you take your career to the next level!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workplace and mixed use projects
  • Articulate and deliver creative concepts
  • Convey concepts through fast hand sketching (in front of clients)
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers
  • Ensure high quality outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or related discipline
  • 8+ years experience as an Interior Designer, Interior Architect or Architect with an interiors focus 
  • Experience in and passion for the workplace sector in a similar position
  • Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Demonstrated front-end client facing and pitching experience
  • Strong design sensibility (demonstrated through a beautifully-presented portfolio)
  • Creative, collaborative and easygoing approach

Bio: Prior to joining Bespoke Careers, Georgia commenced her study in interior design, transferring to complete a Bachelor of Architecture at Deakin University. Alongside her studies, Georgia worked as a Structural Draftsperson, followed by gaining experience in the furniture industry as both a Sales Support and Sales Consultant. She joined the interiors team at Bespoke Careers in November 2019 where she can apply her knowledge and experience in industry.
