About this role

This reputable architectural practice has a focus on community, education, and recreational projects. Based out of a lofty warehouse studio north of the river, this studio boasts exceptional longevity and tenure of their people - quite possibly due to their affable environment and family-friendly approach! With new work coming in steadily, the team is seeking a talented Mid-Senior Architect with an Interiors slant to come aboard and support an Associate for recreational and school projects. The successful addition will bring solid ArchiCAD skills (preferred) and experience in coordination, along with a portfolio that displays complex projects and an innate sense of materiality. This is a sensational opportunity not to miss!

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to recreational and school project typologies, with values up to $60m
  • Lead a team of Graduates and work closely in supporting both Interiors and Architecture Associates
  • Engage with clients and consultants at a high level
  • Take projects from briefing to handover

Skills & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Architecture, with registration preferable but not necessary  
  • Fluid contributions and coordination across both interior and exterior
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience, including education projects
  • High ArchiCAD proficiency
  • Strong eye for detail and design
  • Experience in team management and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise successfully across multiple demographics
  • Ability to lead and inspire junior team members

Rochelle graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters in Architecture in 2009 and gained over seven years' post-graduate experience before joining Bespoke Careers in 2017.
