About this role

This recognised, established architecture design practice maintains an international presence, with offices located around the globe. In Melbourne, the team puts their creativity to work in a brand new office, with loads of natural light and a fabulous break-out space. An opening has come about for a talented Bids/Marketing Coordinator to join the group and play a key role in coordinating submissions and marketing. The successful coordinator will have stand-out presentation and writing skills, industry experience and a passion for design. Invest in your career for the long term while doing what you love!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pitches, award submissions, capability material, presentations, social media, digital channels, comms, media and events
  • Produce high-quality and thoughtful bid submissions
  • Seek out tender and new business opportunities
  • Devise and implement marketing strategies and external communications

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a communications, marketing or submissions role
  • Experience within the architecture or construction industry preferred (in a similar role or in a project-related capacity)
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Ability to write thoughtfully and creatively to clearly convey value proposition 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and competency in building rapport
  • Proactive approach with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Interest in a long term career in submission/ proposals/ bid management in the design industry
