About this role


This top of the line contemporary furniture supplier is looking for a switched-on and motivated Receptionist/ Showroom Coordinator to join their busy Richmond showroom. The successful Receptionist will work with some of the world's finest designer furniture brands that service the architecture and design industry. This is a full-time, permanent position from Tuesday-Saturday. The same position is also available 2 days a week Sunday-Monday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet/ host clients in the showroom
  • Answer all incoming calls and direct clients to staff
  • Coordinate incoming mail and outgoing mail
  • Arrange courier collections and ensure internal mail is distributed and dispatched to schedule.
  • Assist with the processing of accessories sales as required
  • Maintain the showroom collections folder, ensuring it is kept up to date and that customers are called and reminded when items are ready for collection
  • Liaise with external visitors in relation to services
  • Monitor supplies ordering and stocking for kitchen and bathroom areas
  • Order stationery and general supplies
  • Count and reconcile cash till float first at the start and end of each day
  • Provide administration support to management and staff where required
  • Assist with coordinating events

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience on a busy reception desk, ideally in a showroom or design studio
  • Professional and approachable manner with excellent presentation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Keen interest in the design industry
