About this role

This innovative Architecture and Interior Design practice specialises in boutique multi-residential, high-end townhouses, private residences and larger commercial projects across Victoria. The group is not top-heavy; this is a studio where team members are encouraged to develop themselves in their own areas of passion and expertise. A skilled and passionate Landscape Architect is sought to join the team in a newly-created position, to establish a presence within the landscape sector and provide a further service offering to clients. The successful LA will manage the design direction of landscape elements of projects as well as the quality of design, documentation and co-ordination, team resources, program, budgets and client relationships. Work within a supportive leadership team – there is potential for this role to develop into a Principal-level position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all landscape elements of projects, from inception to completion
  • Provide a high level of design output
  • Contribute to new business - cultivate existing relationships and seek out new opportunities
  • Shape and grow the Landscape team

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and registration with AILA
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience within Australia, with a particular focus on residential landscape design
  • Industry recognition as being a thought leader and innovative designer
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of projects across a range of typologies
  • Extensive knowledge of project delivery from schematic design to contract administration
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • An understanding of documentation delivery within REVIT (preferred) or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, and VIC Planning framework
  • Advanced Presentation skills
  • Experience in business development and tender submissions;
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team demonstrating advanced people skills

Looking for a change but wanting to continue utilising her expertise, she joined Bespoke Careers in 2013, initially recruiting and resourcing within the architecture team. Bianca spent some time working in our London office in 2018 recruiting for interior designers and urban/landscape architects gaining a global approach. She is now a Principal in the Melbourne office managing permanent architecture positions.
