An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Systems/ Quality Assurance Manager to join the Melbourne studio in a key role and take ownership of quality assurance across the practice. The successful QA Manager will be an Architect experienced in project delivery, who maintains a wide-ranging understanding of architectural protocols and procedures and a passion for all things QA. The ability to excel in a role with many stakeholders is also crucial. Contribute your skills to a prominent practice in a role key to the organisation’s success as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and maintain the standard details library
  • Maintain the office Management System and manual
  • Monitor the QA of projects (check drawings, schedules, specifications etc.)
  • Manage the Knowledge Database
  • Undertake fee analysis, project planning and scoping
  • Induct team members on the QA system
  • Monitor related OH&S changes
  • Assist with QA-related queries and monitor staff QA performance
  • Operate at a high level alongside senior project leaders
  • Travel interstate on occasion as required
Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualification in Architecture
  • Minimum 5+ years post grad experience, including project delivery
  • QA experience or a comprehensive understanding of architectural protocols and procedures
  • Proficiency in Newforma
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Detailed design and construction knowledge
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respectfully influence outcomes and handle pressure situations
  • Effective time-management skills
