About this role


This multi-disciplinary practice is located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. With offices across Melbourne and Asia, the group creates unique and compelling architecture through a highly-personalised and holistic approach. An opportunity has arisen for a capable Project Architect to come aboard and lead a small team to success. The successful Architect will have significant experience in the rail and infrastructure sector, high-level Revit proficiency and technical capabilities, and outstanding communication skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to significant rail and infrastructure projects
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion and run a small team
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants and team members
  • Maintain effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure the highest quality project outcomes
Skills & Experience

  • Masters of Architecture, or a tertiary qualification in a related discipline 
  • Minimum 5-10 + years’ professional, post-graduate, local experience
  • Significant experience in the rail and infrastructure sector, across all phases
  • High Revit proficiency
  • Understanding of BCA/NCC with the ability to interpret consultant reports
  • Excellent design and technical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

Bio: Having obtained a Masters in architecture at the University of Melbourne and working in practice at Peddle Thorp Architects for over five years, Bianca has extensive knowledge of both architecture and the local market in Melbourne. Looking for a change but wanting to continue utilising her expertise, she joined Bespoke Careers in 2013, initially recruiting and resourcing within the architecture team. Bianca spent some time working in our London office in 2018 recruiting for interior designers and urban/landscape architects gaining a global approach. She is now a Principal in the Melbourne office managing permanent architecture positions.
