This quirky, mid-sized team work their magic from a beautiful office on the cusp of the CBD. Their portfolio consists of a wide range of interesting projects, both in Melbourne and Asia. A down-to-earth group with a high design pedigree, the practice has an animated office culture and offers lots of scope for career progression. The role is work from home to start with, with a return to the office planned for the near future. Initially a 3-month contract is on offer – WITH A VIEW TO PERM for the right person. Highlight your conceptual skills and then reveal your technical delivery abilities as the project evolves!

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the early design stages of a 5-star Hotel project
  • Undertake concept and front-end design
  • Utilise Rhino and Revit
  • Collaborate as a key team member
  • Ensure the highest quality project outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Minimum of 5+ years post grad experience including hotel projects
  • Overseas experience will be viewed positively
  • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino
  • Strong design and front-end concept skills
  • Solid technical and delivery skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members

Bio: Having obtained a Masters in architecture at the University of Melbourne and working in practice at Peddle Thorp Architects for over five years, Bianca has extensive knowledge of both architecture and the local market in Melbourne. Bianca spent some time working in our London office in 2018 recruiting for interior designers and urban/landscape architects gaining a global approach.
