About this role

A high-end commercial workplace furniture supplier is seeking an Operations Administrator to join their growing Los Angeles studio. This is a great opportunity for a junior designer or administrator to gain experience in the design industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Coordinator with facilitating order acknowledgements
  • Assist the operations team with all shipping labels for project related items
  • Gather project items from local vendors on an as needed basis
  • Organize and track all small project items to be sent out to clients - number tags, fabric cards
  • Prepare shipping packets for the warehouse team
  • Assist project coordinator in creating all packing lists and shipping documents
  • Request tracking information/follow up from vendors
  • Manage parts sent and received by vendors

Skills and Experience

  • Business management or design related degree
  • Previous experience in coordination/logistics preferred
  • Proactive, "can do" attitude
  • Experience in administration within high-end furniture is highly advantageous
