Position Summary:

An award winning design-build firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Brand Manager to join their team. You will report directly to the Principal and will be responsible for developing and growing revenue and profits by expanding and maintaining product offerings and brands in new and existing markets. You must have a high level of knowledge in interior/industrial design or related. 

Minimum Skill or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in design / project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of client and company management
  • Creative and innovative thinker and planner
  • In-depth understanding of the brand and its position in the market
  • Willingness to learn new details and processes
  • A strong understanding of furniture and interior markets
  • Strong and persuasive communicator with excellent listening skills
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • Enjoy working in a creative and collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage your time across multiple projects
  • Ability to produce detailed and organized shop drawings
  • Must be able to read and create floor plans
  • Experience in evaluating product costs, setting pricing, and determining margins

 

Essential Duties:

  • Takes responsibility for all product knowledge across ReadyMAde Furniture line
  • Managing company and client expectations
  • Set brand standards
  • Improve brand recognition, reputation and outreach
  • Analyze market trends, and forecasting to support sales
  • Lead the creative development of the brand, define market opportunities and competitors analysis
  • Supervise retail partnership to ensure brand consistency and evaluate e-commerce opportunities
  • Research and track brand performance and reactions
  • Attend industry events to build brand name recognition

 

 

  • Lead a team of employees and contractors, communicate expectations, coaching, performance management, hiring and termination if necessary
  • Estimating and establishing cost parameters, budgets, campaigns, and potential ROI
  • Reporting performance and assess against goals for ROI and KPIs
  • Gather key metrics and information used to evaluate new product initiatives and product lifecycle management decisions (standard cost requests / margin analysis, market sizing, competitive benchmarking, quality testing, market research, etc.)
  • create product briefs and work closely with design team in developing new product categories
  • Monitoring warehouse inventory, reporting on levels, and working on plans to improve warehouse efficiencies
  • Improving processes and automating the purchasing process
  • Updating internal documents
  • Tracking production and shipments
  • Protects Company proprietary information and keep it confidential
