A Los Angeles design firm is seeking interior designers with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience working for architecture or commercial interior design firms with a preferred focus on hospitality, commercial and residential design.

About this role

A local and global design firm located in LA specializing in residential, hospitality, retail and workplace environments is seeking a designer to join their team. Are you a fast-paced and detail oriented designer who enjoys high-end clients and projects? This position requires team collaboration and you must be able to communicate and work well with both internal employees and external clients.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with interior design team to develop design solutions
  • Research concepts and materials to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development
  • Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
  • Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations
  • Assist the project team in producing presentation material drawings to also include selection of FF&E as well as development material palettes

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements: BA in Interior design, Architecture, or similar field
  • 5  to 8+ years' professional experience
  • High Proficiency with AutoCAD is a must
  • High Proficiency with Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, SPEXX and other design software to develop drawings and presentation materials
  • Knowledgeable of code requirements and building construction standards
  • High level of focus and attention to detail
