Building Awards 2026
The annual Building Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane recognises twenty categories of excellence across the UK's built environment sector.
Location: Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London
Date: 3 November 2026
The Building Awards 2026 ceremony takes place on 3 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, bringing together professionals from across the UK’s built environment industry to recognise excellence across 20 award categories. Organised by Building magazine, the event spans architecture, engineering, construction, development and sustainability, with entries drawn from projects and individuals active in the UK during the year.
The awards are respected across the construction and design professions for their breadth and the rigour of shortlisting and judging by a panel of senior industry figures. Categories specific to architectural practice and design quality sit alongside awards recognising contractor performance, client achievement and sustainability innovation, making the event a genuinely cross-sector occasion.
For architects and design directors, the Building Awards provides an annual opportunity to benchmark work against the broader UK market and to understand which projects and practices are being recognised for commercial as well as design achievement. Entry for the 2026 awards closes in May, with the shortlist announced ahead of the November ceremony.
