RIBA South Regional Awards Celebration 2026
Join the architecture and built environment community in Henley-on-Thames for the RIBA South Regional Awards Celebration — an evening recognising excellence in architecture across the South of England, with 13 outstanding projects shortlisted for 2026.

The RIBA South Regional Awards Celebration 2026 brings together architects, design teams, and the wider built environment community for an evening of recognition and networking on the banks of the River Thames. The event takes place at the historic Riverside Pavilion at Phyllis Court Club — a Grade II listed former grandstand dating from 1913, sensitively extended to offer year-round use with panoramic views across the Club’s lawns, the Chilterns, and the Thames itself.
Thirteen projects have been shortlisted for the 2026 RIBA South Regional Awards, representing some of the region’s finest examples of innovation and high-quality design — from Studio Weave’s South Barn and David Kohn Architects’ Gradel Quadrangles, to Wright & Wright’s Spencer Building at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. The shortlist spans residential, community, education and conservation projects, each judged and presented locally by peers who understand the context, constraints and ambitions of the region.
