The US architecture and design calendar for 2026 is packed with world-class events. From New York’s design festival to Chicago’s contract interiors mega-show and Palm Springs’ midcentury modern celebration, 2026 offers unmissable events for architects, interior designers, and design enthusiasts. Here are seven you should have in your calendar.

New York Build Expo
A major two-day gathering for professionals in architecture, engineering, construction and real estate. Featuring 500+ speakers across specialist sessions covering sustainability, tall buildings, digital construction, infrastructure and real estate development, alongside hundreds of exhibitors.
NYCxDESIGN Festival
New York’s flagship design festival returns with a week-long citywide celebration spanning architecture, interior, product, urban and graphic design. The 2026 edition, themed “Design Connects Us”, features exhibitions, public installations, talks, open studios, tours and trade shows across all five boroughs.
ICFF — International Contemporary Furniture Fair

AIA Conference on Architecture & Design
The architecture event of the year brings together AEC professionals for nearly 350 expert-led sessions offering CPD credits recognised by AIA, GBCI and RIBA. Featuring architect-led tours of San Diego landmarks including the Salk Institute and Balboa Park, plus an expansive industry expo.
NeoCon
