Joe Morris: The Craft of Urgency (SOLD OUT)

Temple Bar, the historic precinct adjacent to St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London, hosts this seminar with Joe Morris, CEO of Morris+Company. The talk is part of an ongoing programme of architecture and design discourse at the venue, bringing practitioners together to reflect on the direction of contemporary practice.
Morris will address what he describes as the craft of urgency, integrating new perspectives into 21st century practice amid the twin pressures of climate change and social injustice. Drawing on three decades of work, he will speak to the role of collaboration, research, and narrative in shaping places people want to live and thrive in.
Speaker: Joe Morris is CEO of Morris+Company, with studios in Hackney and Copenhagen. He has taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture and lectured internationally, from Barcelona to Buenos Aires. The talk is chaired by Lucy Bullivant Hon FRIBA, Trustee of the Temple Bar Trust.
