AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2027
The American Institute of Architects’ annual conference and expo heads to Philadelphia with keynotes, continuing education and architect-led tours

The AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2027 takes place from 19 to 22 May 2027 in Philadelphia. Organised by the American Institute of Architects, AIA27 is the institute’s annual national conference, attended by thousands of architects and specifiers from across the United States.
The programme includes keynote talks, architect-led tours and around 350 expert-led education sessions offering HSW, GBCI, RIBA and AIA LU credits. The AIA27 Expo runs on 20 and 21 May and is billed as the industry’s largest.
Registration opens in early 2027. For practices across the US, the conference is the main national gathering of the profession, and Philadelphia’s mix of historic fabric and recent development gives the tour programme plenty to work with.
