Victoria's largest construction and design show returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre with 350 exhibitors, 500 speakers and 15 CPD summit stages, free to attend

Melbourne Build Expo returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at South Wharf on 25 and 26 November 2026. Billed by organiser Oliver Kinross as Victoria’s largest construction and design show, it expects more than 20,000 attendees and 350 exhibitors across architecture, construction, infrastructure and building products. Doors open at 9.30am both days, with networking drinks on the Wednesday evening.
The conference programme runs over 15 CPD-accredited summit stages with more than 500 speakers. Stages include the Architecture and Design Summit, Future of Housing, Sustainability, Modern Methods of Construction, AI and Digital Construction and a Data Centre Summit. There is an Architect’s Hub and a Government Hub on the floor. One free ticket also covers the co-located InstallerSHOW Melbourne, Fire Safety Event Australia and The Security Event Australia.
For Melbourne architects and specifiers it is the quickest way to cover a year of product research and CPD hours in two days, with the trade off that the floor is shared with the wider construction industry rather than design alone.
