Description:
Melbourne Design Week 2026 presents an extensive eleven-day program exploring design as a catalyst for positive change. Hosted across galleries, studios, gardens and public spaces throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, the festival encourages discourse between designers, educators and the public. Supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria, MDW showcases talks, exhibitions, tours, and workshops that highlight the social, cultural and environmental value of design. Since its inception in 2017, the event has expanded to include over 400 programs and 1,300 participating designers, reinforcing its reputation as Australia’s most significant design festival and a key fixture in the Asia-Pacific design calendar.
