Foster and Partners: Civic Vision
An exhibition exploring Foster and Partners’ global architectural legacy, highlighting key projects and design themes across six decades.
Location:
Parkline Place (Level 2), 252 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia
Date:
25 October 2025 – 21 December 2025
Featuring over 35 architectural models, Foster and Partners: Civic Vision presents the first comprehensive exhibition of the practice’s work in Australia. Spanning projects from its founding in 1967 to the present, the exhibition reveals the evolution of Norman Foster’s approach to civic and urban design.
Set within Parkline Place, the firm’s latest Sydney development above Gadigal Station, the display is arranged across three thematic sections: Community and Culture, Living and Working, and Planning and Mobility. Visitors encounter both Australian landmarks, such as Deutsche Bank Place and Salesforce Tower, and celebrated international projects, including the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Headquarters, London’s Gherkin, and Berlin’s Reichstag.
The exhibition examines architecture’s capacity to connect people, infrastructure, and environment, offering a reflective lens on cities of the present and future.
