The AIA | LA Women in Architecture Committee presents its 12th annual Powerful conference—Powerful XII: Optimism + Resilience. This one‑day gathering examines the vital roles of optimism and resilience in architecture, especially for women navigating professional and environmental challenges such as early‑year wildfires. Attendees engage with speakers, panels, and workshops that explore how these qualities inform design practice, leadership and the AEC industry’s future. The programme is designed to both inspire and equip participants and reinforces women’s impact within architecture, engineering and construction through learning, networking and community building.
