Art by Architects 2026 Showcase
The 6th annual Art by Architects showcase opens at the Center for Architecture in New York on 2 April — celebrating the creative, multimedia side of the architectural profession with works from over 100 architects, professors, students and designers across the New York metro area.

Art by Architects NYC returns for its sixth annual showcase, once again transforming the Center for Architecture into a celebration of the creative lives that architects lead beyond their professional practice. Founded in 2018 to shine a light on multimedia artistic work that often goes unseen behind the demands of building design, the showcase has grown into a beloved fixture of New York’s architecture calendar — bringing together architects, professors, students and interior designers from across the metro area to share work and connect outside the office.
This year’s submissions span a wide range of media and approaches, united by the idea that architecture is only one expression of a deeply creative discipline. The Thursday evening opening reception offers guests and exhibiting artists a celebratory space to share, discuss and network, with tickets priced at $20 for general attendees; students with valid ID and artists featured in the show enter free.
Proceeds from reception tickets and the sale of select artworks benefit the Center for Architecture’s Annual Education Fund, which supports K-12 programming, subsidises fees for partner schools, and provides scholarships to inspire the next generation of design leaders. Submissions were open through 16 March — follow Art by Architects on social media for the full lineup of participating artists.
